Resource Spotlight - Aspire2Inspire Dyslexia

Exciting news just in of a new charitable organisation based in London that seeks to support dyslexic adults that are looking to get back into education as well as further training and becoming self employed.

I met the CEO of Aspire2Inspire Dyslexia, last November at the TES Special Educational Needs Show and she gave me an outline then of her work.

Elizabeth Kwateng-Amaning, CEO of Aspire2Inspire Dyslexia

Elizabeth Kwateng-Amaning, herself dyslexic, was diagnosed mid way during her studies for a combined honours course at Southbank University.  After graduation she pursued a career in teaching and gained a PGCE from Greenwich University.

When speaking with Elizabeth it was clear that she has overcome many challenges that her dyslexia has presented her but never allowed it to reduce her determination to succeed.  She is passionate about helping other dyslexic adults succeed hence the setting up of Aspire2Inspire Dyslexia.

I am delighted to announce that Elizabeth will shortly be contributing to the Studying With Dyslexia Blog shortly.  Please subscribe to the blog so that you don't miss her article.
