How should GCSE, AS and A level grades be awarded in the summer? Have your say!

With this academic year already experiencing so much disruption, it is crucial that the awarding of grades for GCSE, AS and A levels are done appropriately. Whatever your thoughts are about the handling of the pandemic, OfQual are asking for your opinion and we need to give it before the 29th January 2021.

This is a really short blog article! In fact it is a request for anyone who is worried about how GCSE, AS and A level grades will be awarded in the summer, here in England.

If you are a teacher, a parent, SENCO or anyone concerned about the fair awarding of results within the confines of pandemic, then OfQual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) wants to hear from you in their consultation that is currently set to close on the 29th January 2021.

You have a week to make your thoughts known so that we can at least do our best to influence whatever the UK Gov eventually puts in place in England.

Read about OfQual’s proposals for delivery of GCSE, AS and A level grades here.

I need you to do two things, if you feel as strongly about this as I do…
