What is 'text to speech' and how should my child use it at school?

For many students with dyslexia, text to speech technology removes barriers to learning. So how can it be used in the classroom, homework and exams?

Next week the second webinar of 2022 will be for parents and teachers who are supporting young people with dyslexia in secondary education.

I have invited Mary Wilcox, assistive technology specialist from Aventido to talk about how text to speech technology can be used to suppport dyslexic learning within secondary education.

On 24th January 2022, I will have a discussion with Mary Wilcox on these topics and registrants will have an opportunity to ask any questions about text to speech technology.

Any teachers or specialist teachers registered on the webinar will be eligible for a further CPD session on text to speech technology with Mary Wilcox.

The webinar is being recorded so if you can’t make the actual date then register anyway and I will send you a link to the recording as well as further details about the CPD session with Mary.
