Introducing Our Studying With Dyslexia Advent Series

As we approach December, we are excited to launch a special advent style series for our Studying With Dyslexia community. Over the twenty four days leading up to Christmas, we will explore what dyslexia truly is, the strengths that shine, the difficulties that can appear and the practical support that makes a real difference at home and in school. Each day will focus on one theme, helping us build a clearer picture of how dyslexic individuals learn, think and thrive.

If you have visited recently, you may have noticed that our website has a new look. We have updated the layout to make information easier to find, and even more improvements are on the way. Over the weeks ahead, you will see clearer pathways, better navigation and simpler access to the topics that matter most to you. We are delighted to welcome you into this refreshed space as we begin our advent series.

This series is for anyone seeking deeper understanding whether you are a parent, a teacher, a student or someone with lived experience yourself. Some posts will highlight common challenges such as working memory strain, reading fatigue or organisation. Others will celebrate creative problem solving, visual thinking, communication skills and the unique perspectives dyslexic learners bring. Alongside this, we will share quick wins for families and educators, helpful strategies and insights into structured specialist teaching.

Our first advent post will go live on Monday afternoon, so keep an eye on the website and Facebook page as the series begins. We hope these daily reflections bring clarity, encouragement and connection as we move into the final weeks of the year.
