Dyslexia remains ever-present.

Being part of the dyslexic community has afforded me the privilege of attending some truly remarkable activities over the past few months. update on my recent activities related to dyslexia. October and November have been incredibly eventful months in the world of dyslexia. In late October, I had the pleasure of attending the Dyslexia Scotland conference, where more than 220 delegates from all over Scotland gathered. The conference featured a multitude of seminars and a captivating exhibition. It was a delightful experience reconnecting with friends and colleagues I hadn't seen in many months. I truly appreciated every moment of it. You can also check out the TikTok video I shared from the event.

Moving into November, I attended the Positive Dyslexia Conference in Cardiff. This event marked its inaugural run and attracted over 50 delegates from the education sector. The conference provided valuable insights into how we can better support individuals with dyslexia. Additionally, I gained valuable knowledge about a new mind mapping tool from Ayoa.

Just this week, my daughter and I had the privilege of attending a remarkable event at Moon Hall School in Reigate. This event was open to parents and saw over 200 people come together to receive advice on assessments, the OrCam learn, dyscalculia, and many other important topics. It was truly heartening to witness such a gathering of individuals seeking knowledge and support.

Looking ahead to the coming week, I'm excited to announce that we will be participating in the Positive Dyslexia Conference in Liverpool. We'll have a stand showcasing flexitable and Trugs, so do drop by if you're attending. You can find more information about the event by clicking here.
