With classes in primary education now easily being in excess of 30 children, teachers are more likely to have children who struggle with literacy whether that is due to being dyslexic or even due to English being a second language. Whatever the challenges are with literacy, teachers need to be able to present their teaching materials in a way that helps a child to learn, despite their needs. In this article I am going to tell you about a free resource that might just be helpful to teachers looking for new content to help with literacy that also helps to save time.
With our population being estimated to be 10% dyslexic with 4% severely so, classes of 30 plus kids are guaranteed to kids with varying literacy challenges. Somehow our overworked teachers need to find the time to get materials together that will appeal to all needs throughout the learning process.
