Quite a while ago I interviewed Rossie Stone from Dekko Comics about his own journey through education experiencing severe challenges related to being a dyslexic thinker. One of the strengths of being a dyslexic thinker is the ability to think out of the box to deal with tricky situations and Rossie turned to using his creativity skills to draw comics that helped him to learn and this eventually developed into what is now Dekko Comics who recently published the fantastic book, Mission Dyslexia.
Coming up on the 7th December, Succeed With Dyslexia is hosting a family workshop online where Darren Clark and Rossie Stone will be exploring how Rossie learned to support his dyslexia through school, and how he makes academic information dyslexia-friendly via comic books!
This workshop is for families who enjoy being creative and during the workshop you will be able to do these fun packed activities:
